Harvest Thanksgiving October 2019

We celebrated our Harvest Thanksgiving Sunday with gifts blessed at our morning Parish Mass, for distribution to the sick and housebound of our Parish, our local foodbank - Torquay Community Larder,and the Leonard Stocks Hostel, besides donations to those further away via Shelterbox. In the evening, we continued our celebration with a Service of Evensong and Benediction, giving thanks for God's many blessings. This was followed by Harvest Supper in the Hall. We enjoyed a great evening with good food and company, and raised further funds for the Additional Curates Society, which helps to provide the Priests who are to be the workers in God's 'Harvest of Souls'.
