There was a great atmosphere at St. Mary's Church in St. Marychurch when we all came together to witness the Licensing of Father Nick to the Churches of St. Martin's and St. Mary's. It was a wonderful occasion which marked the beginning of a new chapter in the life of our Church. The sermon was preached by the former Father Will Hazlewood, who was Father Nick's first parish Priest and who is now the Bishop of Lewes, which was a truly inspirational and very humorous sermon. We were also privileged to have Bishop Nick McKinnel officiating at Father Nick's Licensing in one of his last acts as Bishop of Plymouth before his retirement.
