Following the death of her Late Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II, on 8th September, St. Martin's played its part in the period of national mourning
A book of condolence was placed in St. Martin's, which was open every day from 10am to 7pm, so that people could come into Church and spend some time in prayer, reflecting on our Late Queen's life, light a candle and sign the book.
A Requiem Mass was celebrated on Tuesday evening and the National Church Commemorative service took place on Sunday afternoon 18th September, on the eve of Her Late Majesty's funeral.
